Infants
At Sprouting Minds Child Development Center, our three infant rooms are thoughtfully designed to support your baby’s unique developmental journey. Infant 1 Classroom (6 weeks to crawling): Our warm and nurturing environment helps your little one grow and explore. Caring teachers engage with infants through cuddling, singing, reading, and play, ensuring personalized attention with a 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio. We celebrate every milestone with you and keep you updated daily on your baby’s progress. Infant 2 Classroom (crawling to walking): As your child begins to crawl and pull up, this room is filled with stimulating toys and opportunities for exploration in a calm setting. With your approval, we’ll start introducing table foods. The 1:4 ratio ensures individual care while encouraging independence. Infant 3 Classroom (walking to toddler stage): For those taking their first independent steps, this room offers plenty of space for movement and discovery. Activities like storytime, art, sensory play, and sign language promote fine and gross motor skills and early communication. The 1:4 ratio ensures your child receives the attention they need in this exciting stage.
Toddlers
Our toddler program nurtures curiosity, creativity, and early learning, split into two classrooms based on development.
Toddler 1 Classroom (18 months to 2 ½ years):
With a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio, your child will explore colors, shapes, letters, and counting through engaging songs, stories, art, and play. Teachers foster vocabulary expansion and social skills like sharing and turn-taking. Potty training begins when your child is ready.
Toddler 2 Classroom (2 ½ to 3 years):
Building on earlier skills, this room focuses on deeper recognition of colors, shapes, and letters. Small group play in learning centers introduces responsibility and structure, all within a 1:6 ratio. Hands-on projects and art make learning fun and interactive.
Preschool (3 to 4 ½ years):
Our structured environment promotes hands-on learning through group activities, art, experiments, and play. With a 1:10 teacher-to-child ratio, children thrive in distinct learning centers like Blocks, Math, Science, and Dramatic Play.
Pre-K (4 ½ to 5 ½ years):
Designed to prepare children for kindergarten, this classroom focuses on academics, social skills, and independence, with a 1:12 teacher-to-child ratio. Weekly themes and learning centers create an engaging curriculum developed by a retired elementary school teacher. Field trips add exciting learning opportunities!
