Skyline Ranches Elkhorn Early Childhood Programs for Toddlers, Pre-K & School Age
Infants
Our infant program includes three specialized rooms:
Infant 1 Classroom (6 weeks to crawling):
With a 1:4 teacher-child ratio, caregivers foster a warm, nurturing environment. Babies are held, read to, and engaged with through play and songs to support their growth.
Infant 2 Classroom (crawling to walking):
In this stage, babies start exploring their surroundings. This room is designed for active exploration with stimulating toys, and we begin introducing table foods as children grow, maintaining a 1:4 ratio for personalized attention.
Infant 3 Classroom (walking to toddler):
As children become more mobile, they require space for movement and exploration. This room encourages both fine and gross motor skills through activities like storytime, sensory play, and sign language. This room also offers a 1:4 teacher-student ratio.
Toddlers
Our Skyline Ranches Elkhorn toddler program fosters early learning and social skills through engaging activities:
Toddler 1 Classroom (18 months to 2 ½ years):
With a 1:6 teacher-student ratio, children begin learning foundational concepts like colors, shapes, and numbers through songs, art, and interactive play. Social skills such as sharing and turn-taking are emphasized.
Toddler 2 Classroom (2 ½ to 3 years):
This group builds on their knowledge with more structured activities, including art projects and small-group play. This classroom encourages greater independence and responsibility for play areas.
Our preschool and pre-K programs near Skyline Ranches Elkhorn prepare children for school with hands-on learning, structured group activities, and socialization skills. Both programs use learning centers focused on math, art, science, and dramatic play. The 1:10 and 1:12 teacher-child ratios ensure attention to each child’s developmental needs.
School Age
We also offer before- and after-school care and summer programs near Skyline Ranches Elkhorn for school-age children up to age 12, providing a safe and fun environment to keep them engaged.
