Windgate Ranch Early Childhood Programs for Toddlers, Pre-K & School Age Kids
Infant Classrooms: Nurturing Growth at Every Stage
At Sprouting Minds, our infant care rooms are tailored to support your child’s development:
- Infant 1: For infants 6 weeks to crawling, we provide a nurturing environment with personalized care. Babies enjoy cuddles, songs, and play to stimulate growth, with a 1:4 teacher-child ratio.
- Infant 2: Crawlers explore stimulating toys and start trying table foods (with your approval). The 1:4 ratio ensures attention and support.
- Infant 3: Walkers enjoy movement, sensory play, art, and sign language to build motor and communication skills.
Toddler Classrooms: Growing Minds and Skills
Our programs for Windgate Ranch toddlers are grouped into two classrooms to meet their developmental needs:
- Toddler 1: For ages 18 months to 2 ½ years, with a 1:6 teacher-child ratio. Children explore colors, shapes, letters, and counting through songs, stories, art, and play. Vocabulary grows as they practice sharing and taking turns. Potty training begins when your child is ready.
- Toddler 2: For ages 2 ½ to 3 years, children build on foundational skills with art projects, hands-on activities, and group play. They also begin small-group center time, learning responsibility and independence.
Transitions between our toddler rooms are guided by each child’s readiness and developmental progress.
Our preschool classroom (ages 3–4½) provides a structured environment where children learn through group activities, experiments, art, games, reading, and play. With a 1:10 teacher-child ratio, we focus on developing academic, social, and motor skills through hands-on exploration.
The Windgate Ranch pre-K classroom (ages 4½–5½) prepares children for kindergarten, emphasizing independence, socialization, and academics. Guided by a curriculum created by a retired elementary teacher, children engage in theme-based learning and essential skills development.
Both classrooms feature distinct learning centers like blocks, art, math, and dramatic play, offering daily opportunities for choice and discovery in a fun, supportive setting.
School-Age Program: Supporting Continued Growth
For children aged 6 to 12, our Windgate Ranch early childhood program for school-age kids offers a safe and enriching environment for before- and after-school care. We provide homework support, recreational activities, and opportunities for skill-building in areas like technology, art, and sports.
