Early Childhood Programs for Toddlers, Pre-K & School Age in Elk Creek Crossing Omaha
Infants
We have three infant classrooms, each tailored to different stages of development:
- Infant 1 (6 weeks to crawling): With a 1:4 ratio, caregivers provide nurturing care through activities like holding, reading, and play to support early milestones.
- Infant 2 (crawling to walking): Babies explore their surroundings with engaging toys, developing motor skills. Table foods are introduced as they grow, keeping the 1:4 ratio.
- Infant 3 (walking to toddler): This room offers space for movement and development through storytelling, sensory play, and sign language, maintaining the 1:4 teacher ratio.
Toddlers
Our toddler program promotes early learning and socialization through engaging activities:
- Toddler 1 (18 months to 2 ½ years): With a 1:6 ratio, this classroom focuses on basic concepts like colors, shapes, and numbers. Through songs, art, and interactive play, toddlers develop foundational knowledge and begin practicing skills like sharing and taking turns.
- Toddler 2 (2 ½ to 3 years): This classroom builds on their learning with more structured activities, including hands-on art projects and group play. Children also learn to take more responsibility for their play areas.
