Toddler Daycare in Omaha

From 18 months to 3 years old, toddlers go through many major changes and each one develops at their own pace. Our toddler program is split into two separate rooms in order to accommodate the children as they reach their respective milestones. Each classroom has 1 teacher for every 6 children to ensure every child gets sufficient attention and care during their time in all of our early childhood programs in Omaha.

Toddler 1 Classroom

The toddlers in this room range from 18 months to 2 ½ years old. They can walk independently and are improving with their vocabulary. The teachers in this room focus on helping them reach their developmental milestones and learn more about numbers, letters, colors, and shapes. Activities focus on repetition to help them start to recognize these topics as well as learn new vocabulary. These children will get plenty of play time while interacting with the other children and have lots of toys and activities to choose from. At this age, our qualified Omaha toddler daycare teachers will help them learn how to share and work on their social skills. The teachers will also give them story time, music time, and arts & crafts. We can also help with potty training in this room if your child is ready.

Toddler 2 Classroom

This room is for children from 2 ½ to 3 years old. Activities in this room continue to help them learn more about numbers, letters, colors, and shapes. The room is very spacious to give them plenty of space to run and play with the other kids and choose from many different age-appropriate toys to play with. Playtime in this room is split up into small groups to help them focus on their group and learn more about boundaries. The teachers provide fun activities to help them learn and expand their minds through story time, music time, and art projects.
