Pre-School and Pre-K Programs in Omaha

Our Pre-School and Pre-K programs at our Omaha location are for children who are approximately 3 to 5 ½ years old. These programs are more structured to help prepare the children for school and get used to a classroom setting. Both programs include different learning centers to give the kids a variety of topics to learn about, including science, dramatic play, reading, math, art, as well as sensory activities. The children in this classroom are given a little more independence and are able to choose which learning centers interest them the most.

Preschool

Our Preschool program is for children who are approximately 3 to 4 ½ years old. The teacher to child ratio is 1 teacher for every 10 children to give them more of a classroom feel. The play time and activities are split up into both small and large groups where they can play, conduct fun experiments, and create arts and crafts projects. The goal of this program is to set your child up for success and prepare them for Pre-K.

Pre-K

The children in our Pre-K program are approximately 4 ½ to 5 ½ years old. We have 1 teacher for every 12 children to help prepare them for more of a classroom setting and help prepare them for Kindergarten. The curriculum for our Pre-K program was developed by a retired elementary school teacher to ensure we are prepping the children with the proper coursework to set them up for success. Every week focuses on a different theme to give the kids a variety of learning topics to improve their academics.
Our Preschool and Pre-K teachers at our Omaha Sprouting Minds location give the children a fun learning environment to help prepare them for school. Once the program is complete, your little one will be full of knowledge and excited to start school!
