Engaging and Interactive Curriculum

At Sprouting Minds, our staff takes the time to plan weekly themes that incorporate a variety of social and academic topics. Our engaging and interactive curriculum moves beyond academics to encourage a comprehensive learning experience for all ages. We provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.

Infants & Toddlers

Learning and development begin at an early age. Our infant and toddler programs help facilitate optimal learning with engaging sensory toys, nutritious meals and snacks, songs, and stories. Our Leawood Southwest daycare team focuses on interaction as instructors help expand vocabulary and encourage learning through play.

Preschool

We design our preschool program for ages 3 to 5½ year olds. At this age, children enjoy a more structured learning environment as they learn through games, independent and group activities, reading, art, and play. Although our curriculum provides an academic focus, we broaden the scope of learning by incorporating social skills and independent lessons, making learning fun for our young students.

School Age

Our Leawood Southwest daycare and child development center offers before and after school care for school-age children through age 12. When school is out for a holiday, parents can take advantage of our full-day childcare services. We also offer summer activities to keep children socially connected and engaged.
