Pre-School and Pre-K Programs in Papillion

Children in our Papillion Pre-School and Pre-K programs are approximately 3 to 5 ½ years old, assuming that your child will spend 1 year in Pre-School and 1 year in Pre-K. Both programs include a more structured learning approach and include different learning centers within the room. Sprouting Minds childcare centers include art, math, science, blocks, dramatic play, reading, and sensory activities. At this age, the children are given more independence by choosing a learning center that interests them. We also offer fun field trips for children at this age!

Preschool

Children in our Papillion Pre-School program are typically 3 to 4 ½ years old and we have a ratio of 1 teacher for every 10 children. Your child will participate in small and large group activities where they will be able to read, play, participate in fun experiments, play games, and create art projects. All activities and learning programs are designed to help prepare them from Pre-K.

Pre-K

Our Papillion Pre-K program is for children approximately 4 ½ to 5 ½ years old and we have a ratio of 1 teacher per every 12 children. The focus of this program is to prepare the children for Kindergarten with specific learning activities that will help them feel confident going to school. We work with a retired elementary school teacher to develop the curriculum to ensure the children are on track for a successful year at Kindergarten. You won’t find a pre-K program in Papillion that prepares your little one for their next step better than Sprouting Minds! The program includes a variety of skill-building activities to help them become more independent and improve their academics and social skills. To give the children a variety of different learning topics, each week is dedicated to a specific theme to focus on.
